I am from Sylvania, ohio. I have been around the world but stayed here for awhile. I was born in New, Mexico. I love cooking. I'll spend all day making a pizza, from making the crust from scratch to roasting tomatoes to put on top. I had PB&J for lunch, though. I really like fishing and anything outdoors. I often talk about Thoreauxin' it up and just living in the woods for a while. Obviously, this isn't really feasible, but it's a fun dream. In all honesty, I would love to live on a farm with a pond and plenty of land for my dogs to run free.

I love cars and they are a big part of my life, weather its working on them, driving or just talking about them. I am a pacifist and my beliefs predate the tomes and rituals of organized religions. I also wonder why so many people rely in the edited writings of men for their faith(s). The older I get the less faith I have in history textbooks.

For a while I having been making the good effort to be green and organic when possible. Have cut way back on red meat but have come to the conclusion that I am not willing to go vegan. Given that I am breaking my belief that everything tastes better with bacon and butter. I prepare many meals that are sans meat, poultry and/or fish. Long live the lentil.

Im single never married and no kids. I like the simple things in life with no drama. Im into camping,hiking,fishing,biking,skiing,canoeing,scuba diving,walking in the woods.

The part I dislike the most is the superficiality of it and the aspect of "fads". I love music as a whole and am a complete fiend about it. I like all types of music except for country although Johnny Cash is sweet. I like to think that I have a funny sense of humor. I do know that I have a very sarcastic sense of humor though. I am very outspoken when it comes to politics and when it comes to religion. Those two topics are also loves of mine to talk about but, most of the time it's arguments (especially when it comes to religion). I love sports like most any typical guy well, most sports.

I'm comfortable with many paradoxes. I'm conservative and liberal, though I tend to vote Democratic. I'm an extroverted introvert. I'm cautious yet spontaneous. I'm middle-brained and rely on both sides in my work and in how I approach life. I'm passionate yet guarded. I'm pro life and pro choice.

The closest religious label I could use is "secular humanist," though it's not an intuitive term. I'm an atheist, but that word doesn't provide any more information about me than a Catholic saying, "I"m a theist."

I believe in treating others the way I'd like to be treated. Kindness and gratitude are far more rewarding than envy and being judgmental. This is our one shot at life. We should cherish it and revel in it, so long as our revelry doesn't infringe upon other people.

I work for Target on the Electronics Logistic team, fancy title for basically slave labor, well its not so bad, I put away movies and electronics for a few hours. I actually enjoy it. Still hanging out with my crazy friends. They rule. We drink, we smoke, we make fun of stuff and have good times. I like movies. Especially Kevin Smith and Quentin Tarrantino. Cliche? Maybe, but they still rock. Video games are great but not nessecary. Reading is my biggest hobby. I love everything. Im a big fantasy/sci fi fan and of course Harry Potter. That limey bastard has ensnared me. Star Wars is cool, ohh and I like Dnd. Yea Im a nerd. So are my friends. We deal with it. Im a huge fan of Hunter S Thompson, to me he was a genius and his way of life was incredible. Not the drug aspect nessecarily but just going out and doing the things he did. He lived by his rules and died by his rules.

Overall, I'm happy with my life. Maybe like you, I'm looking for that someone to share the adventure with. I'm responsible, normal, and real. I live near Toledo (Maumee/ Springfield). I'm not from here, and I could see myself being elsewhere at some point in the future. For fun, I ski in the winter, I play golf in the summer, and play tennis anytime. When the weather is right, I like cycling on one of the metropark bike trails. I'm good enough to have fun at all of these, and I hope to meet someone who likes at least some of the same, and wants to try the others. I like to travel when I get the chance, and there's a lot to do and see that is still waiting. I'm resiliant and versatile, and pretty much a glass-half-full kind of guy.

What about me? I've grown a lot in the last two or three years and am enjoying my life immensely. I went from being a shy homebody with little idea of what I wanted from life to becoming a self-assured person with my own house and a job that teaches me about myself every day.

In my free time, one of my favorite things is to play and listen to music. I have played guitar and piano since I was 13. I'm not likely to go a day without at least spending a few minutes strumming on the guitar. Cooking is something else I enjoy, and I'm excited about the meals I'll be able to make with my much larger kitchen here at home. Other things I enjoy: eating out with friends and family, my daily walks, playing video games with my pals, finding random entertainment on the net, and watching a little TV to mellow out at the end of my day.

While I have an artistic personality, I am a pragmatist. My sense of humor catches even my best friends off guard. I'll deadpan a line and wait for a second, followed by a smile to let people know it was a joke. Other times, I'll just say something so silly or jumbled that it's worth a laugh.

I'm interested in a woman who I can share laughs and good times with. Someone who is as much a friend as a romantic partner. Similar interests are good, but having different ones means my partner and I can both try new things. It's nice to date a woman that I can look down to kiss, but not required.
